Aufgrund privater wie auch allgemeiner Umstände gab es hier länger keine Aktualisierung. Nichtsdestotrotz soll hier darauf hingewiesen werden, dass aufgrund der weltweiten Corona-Pandemie der Wiener Opernball 2021 abgesagt wurde. Ähnliches ist bisher erst 1991 passiert, als der Ball wegen des Golfkrieges ebenfalls abgesagt wurde.
Mit dem Opernball 2021 hätte die Organisation auf komplett neue Beine gestellt werden sollen. Ein Personenkomittee sollte die Funktion der „Ballmutter“ übernehmen und den Opernball in eine neue Zeit führen.
Wir hoffen, dass der Opernball 2022 ein noch glanzvolleres Fest werden wird, als es der Opernball 2021 schon geworden wäre.
Due to private as well as general circumstances, there has been no update here for some time. Nevertheless, it should be pointed out here that due to the worldwide Corona pandemic, the Vienna Opera Ball 2021 has been cancelled. Something similar has only happened so far in 1991, when the ball was also cancelled because of the Gulf War.
With the Opera Ball 2021, the organisation should have been put on a completely new footing. A committee of persons was to take over the function of „ball mother“ and lead the Opera Ball into a new era.
We hope that the Opera Ball 2022 will be an even more glamorous celebration than the Opera Ball 2021 would have been.
